What are lithium batteries for?

How to choose your lithium battery
To get it right we need three figures: the capacity (amp-hours, Ah) your consumption demands, the system voltage (12 V, 24 V, 36 V or 48 V) and the size and dimensions that fit your vehicle or installation. What is the difference between a lithium and a lead-acid battery?
Lithium weighs far less for the same energy, allows more cycles and deeper discharges, charges faster and needs almost no maintenance. Lead is cheaper and fine for plain starting; lithium shines in caravan, solar, golf and marine use where energy is drawn for many hours.
What lithium capacity do I need for my caravan or solar system?
It depends on your daily consumption in amp-hours and how many hours of autonomy you want. In the shop we work out the right capacity (Ah) and voltage for your equipment and give you a clear quote before you buy.
